Decarbonisation of Small Vessels

This two hour, free online event will focus on ‘Decarbonisation of Small Vessels’.

The event will review the Clean Maritime Agenda and the need for decarbonisation before specifically looking at options available for decarbonisation and some of the challenges and requirements in this area, including infrastructure and power optimisation. The Cornwall Marine Hydrogen Centre project will discuss decarbonising vessels with longer range operation and their projects demonstrations.

The panel is made up from Researchers across University of Plymouth and University of Exeter who have been involved in projects and research in these areas as well as Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult, PEP and Maritime UK SW. This event should provide a good overview of the topic and deep dive into some of the current areas of Research & Development in this field.
